for return to green accounting"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>Li Hengyuan, deputy secretary-general of the All-China Environment Federation (ACEF) called on the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) to involve the country&#8217;s major environmental bodies in rolling out the accounting system across the country.   <\/div>\n<div>\nEnvironmentally-adjusted GDP accounting is calculated by deducting the cost of natural resources&#8217; depletion and environmental degradation from the traditional GDP figure.    <\/div>\n<div>\nLast month, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) asked China&#8217;s State Environmental Protection Administration (SEPA) not to release its latest green GDP results to the public. <\/div>\n<div>\nSee <a
