More than 60 kilometres of the wall in Gansu province have been "rapidly disappearing", Xinhua said, citing Zhou Shengrui, the head of a museum in Minqin county. <\/p>\n

"Similar erosion happened to the Great Wall in other places, but the situation is much worse here," he was quoted as saying. <\/p>\n
