China plans to add one nuclear power plant a year until 2020, Reuters reported, citing Zhang Guobao, a deputy chief of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC).<\/p>\n

All of the new plants will be along the country’s coast, the report quoted Zhang as saying.<\/p>\n

Strong demand for uranium has recently pushed prices above historical levels.<\/p>\n
