Competitors in the "Grease to Greece" race had to beg for used cooking oil from restaurant owners along the way<\/p>\n

British couple Coleen and Mario Chadwick drove to Athens in an unconverted Range Rover that burned used cooking oil filtered through a kitchen sieve, the report said. They plan to keep driving on cooking oil after they return to the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n

The race’s creator, Andy Pag, plans for his next adventure to fly around the world using recycled bags for fuel.<\/p>\n
