Diana Baptista is Dialogue Earth’s Mexico and Central America editor based in Mexico City. She has extensive experience in covering environmental rights and climate change in the Americas. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from the Iberoamerican University in Mexico City, and a master’s of science in Data Journalism from Columbia University Journalism School. Prior to joining Dialogue Earth in 2026, she worked as a data journalist for Context, the media platform of the Thomson Reuters Foundation, and for Noticias Telemundo in Miami. She was also a fact-checking producer at Reuters, and a national journalist at Mexican newspaper Reforma. She speaks Spanish and English.
