Liu Zichao is a writer, translator and journalist. He was born in Beijing in 1984 and graduated from the Department of Chinese Language and Literature at Peking University. He has been a China-Germany Media Ambassador and a visiting scholar at Oxford University. His work of travel writing, A Central European Odyssey, won the 2015 Bookshop Literary Prize.
