Hassan Abbas holds a PhD in hydrology and water resources from Michigan State University, in the US, and has worked in the water sector across three continents. In Pakistan, he was appointed as the first UNESCO chair for Integrated Water Resources Management. Currently he is engaged in master planning for water supply and stormwater drainage systems for major cities in Pakistan. He tweets @shahjijr.
