Monica is the Founding Director of Nivela and Costa Rica Limpia. She has worked development and environmental issues for over 20 years. Monica was a lead negotiator for Costa Rica in the climate negotiations and worked at the Ministry of Foreign Trade, the Yale Center for Environmental Law & Policy and Climate Change Capital. Monica trained in Economics and has a Doctorate degree in environmental management from Yale University.
