Ruishan Chen is a tenured professor and vice president of the School of Design at Shanghai Jiaotong University. He is author of the IPBES Global Land Degradation and Restoration, Transitional Change Assessment Report, and director of the East Asia Center of the Urban Climate Change Research Network (UCCRN).
