John McGarrity is a journalist and editor based in London. Before joining chinadialogue he was a specialist in energy, climate policy and low-carbon finance with Point Carbon News and Reuters. He is a graduate in history from Trinity College Dublin and studied newspaper journalism at the University of Ulster, Belfast.
