Peng Kui, PhD, is the manager for Global Environment Institute (GEI)’s Ecosystem Conservation & Community Development programme, and a member of the Convention on Biological Diversity’s “Sharm El-Sheikh to Kunming Action Agenda for Nature and People”. He helped start the Citizens’ Biodiversity Protection Alliance, organised the COP15 NGO forum, and was a contributing author for the Ministry of Ecology and Environment’s text on the Kunming Biodiversity Fund.
