Recibió el Premio Nacional de Periodismo en Colombia por un proyecto de investigación sobre corrupción en 2018 y apareció en el podcast The Take de Al Jazeera en 2024. Habla y escribe con fluidez en español e inglés, y tiene un nivel intermedio de francés y creole haitiano.
