Elizabeth Wright is a Trustee of the Needham Research Institute and a member of the Advisory Board of the SOAS China Institute. She previously worked in the FCO, was Director of the Great Britain-China Centre, Head of the Chinese Service and then of the Asia and Pacific Region of the BBC World Service and set up the China Policy Institute of the University of Nottingham.
