Amanda Lago is Dialogue Earth’s Southeast Asia editor, based in London. Prior to joining in 2025, she worked as a reporter for the Filipino news website, Rappler, and has also been published in major news outlets including The Philippine Star and GMA News Online. She holds a BA in Literature and an MA in Media Practice for Development and Social Change. Her work focuses on human stories, migration, cultural resistance and island identities. Amanda is also working on her first novel, a story about food and belonging that is loosely based on her experiences as a migrant. Amanda is fluent in English and Tagalog.
