Durga M Sengupta is Dialogue Earth’s South Asia managing editor, based in Bengaluru, India. Prior to joining in 2025, she freelanced as a longform fact-checker. She previously led the South Asia team for the American nonprofit publication Rest of World and has worked as an editor at multiple prominent Indian publications, including The Ken and Hindustan Times. A digital-first journalist, Durga has steered deeply reported coverage ranging from technology and business journalism to gender, labour, environment and human rights issues, as they are often intersectional. Durga speaks English, Hindi, Bengali and Malayalam.
