Founded in 1996, GAR International has operations across the global palm oil supply chain. GAR is the agribusiness and food processing arm of Sinar Mas – one of the largest conglomerates in Indonesia. It operates palm plantations and mills, as well as a system of refineries processing certified palm oil and palm kernel oil into industrial and consumer product ingredients. GAR (through its network of subsidiaries) is also engaged in oilseed crushing, logistics, operating deep sea port and storage facilities, as well as industry research and development. In Indonesia and China, GAR is often referred to as Sinar Mas Agribusiness and Food.
