Founded in 1984, Permata Hijau Group (PHG) is a fully integrated palm oil corporation with operations spanning the entire palm oil supply chain. PHG operates oil palm plantations and fruit processing mills, as well as a transport division handling certified palm oil. It is also involved in palm oil refining and manufacturing palm oil derivatives. The company also manufactures consumer goods and is well established in Bangladesh, Indonesia, Pakistan, Russia and the US. In Indonesia, the firm is a major trader in palm oil (both exporting and importing) and among the top 10 importers of palm oil into China.
