Greg Walton is Senior investigator, cyber risk, and cyber threat intelligence at the SecDev Group. He was a DPhil candidate at Oxford’s Centre for Doctoral Training in Cyber Security, where his research focused on state-sponsored cyber espionage targeting diaspora civil society networks. He has worked extensively with Tibetan NGOs in South Asia. He worked with the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of China tracking digital targeting of their members. Greg was the SecDev Fellow at the Citizen Lab based at the Munk Centre, University of Toronto, and is a graduate of the Department of Peace Studies, University of Bradford (International Relations and Security Studies).
